Patrick (aka “Patches”) is the Service Delivery Lead for TeksInc. In this role, Patrick leads the Tier 1 Team in providing the Ultimate Customer Experience. Patrick also assists with the workload of the team and attending to more difficult issues.
Before joining the team at TeksInc, Patrick has been a Dell warranty technician, and a site coordinator for several large manufacturing companies. He went to Tyler Junior College where he earned his Certificate of Proficiency in Micro Computer Repair.
Patrick is a proud father of four, proud stepfather of three and a proud grandfather of one. Patrick likes spending time with his family going out to the movies, and working on his computers at home. He also enjoys playing MMORPG’s and cannot pass up a good raid.
Tim is a Tier 1 Technician for TeksInc. In this role, he is responsible for resolving front line Help Desk calls and service orders, software patches, and backup issues.
Gavin is a Tier 1 Technician for TeksInc. In this role, he is responsible for resolving front line Help Desk calls and service orders, software patches, and backup issues.
Gavin graduated from the University of San Diego before moving out to Texas with his wife and son. His baby never lets him sleep so he has tons of time to think about IT work at night.
In his off time Gavin enjoys photoshop, video games, outdoor sports of any variety, and spending time with his family
Melanie (aka “MelZel”) is an Operations Assistant for TeksInc. In this role, Melanie pretty much does everything else not listed elsewhere on this page :).
Prior to joining Teksinc Melanie worked as an Administrative Assistant for The ESG Companies in Virginia Beach. Prior to living in Virginia Beach, Melanie came from an extensive background in Sales and Marketing, as a sales account manager for Serta Mattress Company.
In 2015, Melanie and her Husband Ron moved back to their place in Texas, after her Husband decided to retire from the furniture Industry.
Melanie enjoys spending time with her Husband, Family and Friends.
Coty is a Tier 1 Technician for TeksInc. In this role, he is responsible for resolving front line Help Desk calls and service orders, software patches, and backup issues.
David (aka “Chief”) is a Network Engineer for TeksInc. In this position, he is responsible the design and engineering of the client’s networks and systems. In addition he is the go-to member of the TeksInc team for resolving advanced technical issues. David has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry. He started his career at a small retail computer shop where he not only learned the value a computer provides to its user, but also the importance of superior customer service. That knowledge eventually took David to Baylor Hospital, where he obtained large-scale network and network OS experience in Novell Netware. Prior to joining TeksInc, David served as the Network Manager at ClubCorp, responsible for up to 25 network engineering staff and the IT oversight for 200 locations around the world.
David is the proud father of three children. He enjoys playing trumpet at church and with the Frisco Community Band, and doing home improvement projects with what little free time he has.
David is a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for TeksInc. In this role, he serves as the client’s advocate for all technology aspects of the client relationship including serving as the CIO, budgeting, technology roadmaps, and other strategic aspects of the technology.
David has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology managing corporate data-centers and successfully delivering complex business & technology solutions. David has tenures at companies such as Microsoft, Price Waterhouse, Lockheed Martin and other high profile organizations as well as personal business ventures. With 4 children, David maintains a very busy schedule at home, however, in his free time he enjoys being active in church, water skiing, show skiing, skydiving and watching football.
Houston is a Tier 1 Technician for TeksInc. In this role, he is responsible for resolving front line Help Desk calls and service orders, software patches, and backup issues.
Harrison is a Tier 1 Technician for TeksInc. In this role, he is responsible for resolving front line Help Desk calls and service orders, software patches, and backup issues.
Harrison is a fast learner and loves to learn new technologies. He also enjoys video games, movies, following information security news, and storm chasing with his cousin.
Jeff is a Tier 1 Technician for TeksInc. In this role, he is responsible for resolving front line Help Desk calls and service orders, software patches, and backup issues.
Kevin is a dedicated Technical Account Manager (TAM) for TeksInc. He serves as an advocate for his clients. As well as handling all technological aspects for his clients including: assuring his clients stay current in the technology needed to support the success of their business with tech road-maps, serving as the CIO, budgeting, and other strategic aspects of his clients technological needs.
Before joining the TEKs Inc Team Kevin worked at ATT in all manners of cutting edge technology, but specialized in business solutions. He has a true understanding of the needs of the business owner from small start-ups, to large corporations.
Kevin in committed to ongoing education in the technology field. He stays current in his knowledge and ahead of the needs of his clients. He holds many certification including A+, Network+, Server+, VM Ware to name a few.
Kevin is family man through and through, and loves to spend quality time with his better half Shay and their lovey daughter Robyn. His hobbies include photography, his favorite models are these two girls. Kevin greatly enjoys gaming a passion his daughter has recently joined him in, and as Eagle Scout loves camping and enjoying the great outdoors. Kevin and his family are very passionate about community service and their family moto is “Be the change they want to see in your world!”
As the President and Founder of TeksInc, Darren takes the Company’s commitment to exceptional service very seriously. He is always available to clients and employees in whatever way necessary to ensure satisfaction.
Darren has more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to founding TeksInc in 2003, he led the Microsoft Platform Engineering Group for ClubCorp. He has also served in several roles at Microsoft from Escalation Engineer to Acting Team Manager.
Outside of work, Darren enjoys time with his family and staying involved with his church and community. It’s also important to Darren to stay healthy and active. He is an avid runner, cyclist and weightlifter (although you couldn’t tell it!). Darren holds his private pilot’s license and enjoys flying for business, pleasure, and non-profit events.
